Cookie Time!

Well we've been battling the flu and colds for the last two weeks so we haven't gotten two festive around these parts. We've finally started to feel a bit better though so I dug out the store bought cookie dough (yup, I said store bought. Don't judge me!) and Aden and I cut out some sugar cookies for decorating. Aden had way too much fun and insisted that every chocolate chip and sprinkle be used.

Abby enjoyed eating the toys while we decorated. Such a cutie!

Countertops and Paint

Our sexy countertops are in! Woo hoo! They're also painting this week. We're not sure if this is the colour we picked or not though. It's very grey and we thought it would be a bit browner. We're not sure if this primer or the actual colour. It's so hard to tell when you pick the colour from a swatch 2" x 3" swatch. We're a bit nervous but we'll wait to see. Anywho.....

No way! A new song!!!....

What!? I finally added a new song to my playlist. Yuppers! It's called Winter Song by Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson and the video is oh so sweet! Enjoy!

SOLD!

That's right, our house is SOLD! It went on the market on Sunday Nov 14th., we got a conditional offer on Wednesday, Dec. 1st and it was officially sold on Thursday Dec. 9! Just under 4 weeks on the market. Not too bad for the time of year and the crazy real estate market. Not too bad at all. And thank goodess it happened just in time for Christmas, woot, woot!

Santa....

My wonderful friend Vicki stood in line today for who knows how long so that Aden and Aberdeen could see Santa. We weren't even sure if either of them would go anywhere near Santa but it turned out they did! Aden was so calm. He just waiting and then walked right up and Santa put him on his lap. They even had a little chat for a few minutes while we waiting for the photographer. Aberdeen did great too! She started to fuss a bit but only because she was getting tired. This is the first time we've done the Santa thing and I'm so happy we did! Thank you Vicki!
