Fights, Beer and The Cult

Jason and his friend Spencer went to see The Cult at Flames Central on Saturday. They came home with huge smiles on their faces. Apparently it was a good concert. They almost saw a fight, Jason got a cup of beer spilt on him, their hearing is still messed up two days later and they were right at the stage to see The Cult up close. Best Day Ever!

I made it to the Front Page of Etsy today. I was up for a whole hour (12:00 - 1:00). For those of you who maybe don't know, I have a shop on Etsy where I sell cards, calendars, gift tags, etc. Making it to the Front Page of Etsy is like winning the lottery for an Etsy seller!

The item that made it to the Front Page were my Hoot Fill-In Invitations (right hand column, second down from the top). The views on these invitations went up from roughly 85 to 650. That's 500 plus views in an hour and I got a lot of views on many of my other items too. Woot woot! Seriously....best day ever!

The Depths of the Couch

I vacuumed the couch today. It still looks disgusting but at least the little bitties are gone. Also it's amazing what you can find in the depths of ones couch. I found two old school fisher price people, two hair clips, a nail file, a paint brush, a puzzle piece, lots of pretzels and the letter L. No money! Boo to that.

I was actually chuckling pretty hard as I came across all of this so I thought I'd share. What have you found in your couch over the years.

Weekend fun!

Well we spent the long weekend in Leth and it was HOT! It was also beautiful though as there was no wind so the evenings were perfect. I even got to try out my mom's electric bike. That was pretty wicked!

Aden dumped a bunch of water from his cup down his front so he went shirtless for a bit. Check out that belly!
We spend a morning at the splash park. Aden is always really standoffish at first when we go to the splash park but then I pick him up and dump him in the water and he gets over it pretty quick. He was running through the water like a crazy boy. So cute! (check out the umbrella)

Yeah it's not a graceful shot but what can I say...we were having fun!
