Card time!

So what takes three hours and the rest of my paper stock? 200 birthday cards!

I volunteer for Santa's Secret Service. They have a birthday party program where they give out birthday gifts to isolated seniors in Calgary and the surrounding areas. They like to have a personalized birthday card to go with each gift. Sometimes we have card making "bees". I design a card and put together the supplies and volunteers put the cards together. The picture above is enough for 200 cards which should last about 2 months. I thought the supplies looked cool all piled up so I took a picture so I could share. : )

The Bump

Alright, alright, stop asking already! haha! Here's a picture of the bump. This was about a week and a half ago, 32.5 weeks along.

Valentine Treat

Here's what I gave Aden for Valentine's Day. He's such a goof. I've had these candy's for awhile and he always asks me for one, begs me for one. Then I give him a whole bag and he says "what are these" and doesn't want to eat any. These pens are at Staples and Aden plays with them everytime we go there so I got him one. Now this he liked! Good boy!

Valentine's Fun!

Aden and I got creative the other day and made some Valentine's for the grandparents. Aden loved the bug stickers!

Bouncin' Fool!

We got a wicked good deal on a Bounce 'n Slide at Christmas time. I'm so glad we got it! Both Aden and I have been feeling the winter blahs lately so I attempted to fit the Bounce 'n Slide in the basement. With a little adjustment of furniture it fit right in. Aden's been having a blast and wearing off some energy!

Jay got in on the fun but he didn't last long. Motion sickness set in. I like to sit inside it while Aden bounces around but after I feel like I'm going up and down for a few minutes. haha!

Mmm....cupcakes!

I got a major craving for cupcakes last week so Aden and I made some chocolate ones with lots of frosting. This was the first time I let Aden go to town on a beater. He had fun!

Etsyversary!

Okay I've been a blog slacker lately so I'm playing catch up over the next few days. : )

First! Feb. 4 marked my Etsyversary (a.k.a. my one year anniversary of having a shop on Etsy). Jason bought me roses and beef jerkey. What a guy! Seriously it was so nice of him. My shop means a lot to me so it was great to celebrate!

I came around the corner into the kitchen the other day and this is what I found. It was totally random and made me giggle so I had to take pics.

Aden likes to lounge on the couch with dad but does not like it so much when dad puts his arms behind his head too. I guess that's just for Aden to do. Look at that belly!
